John Lennon autograph

I just recently picked up this contract. Appears to be the carbon copy of the contract John Lennon signed to record his song "one day at a time" I've seen where people have still considered this to be a John Lennon autograph, because it's a carbon copy and not a reprint or auto pen (would not have been a thing then) I would love to know more about this time thanks for looking!
