Hi everyone,
Trixie Norton - signed in ballpoint for me during a special private industry performance of Billy Elliot for Actors something or other. She was a true Lady, class, most kind, most reserved. She was Beautiful. I recall almost being crushed to death by a hug from Brian Stokes Mitchell - BIG HUG! It was a cool evening. Getting to meet this fine Lady and discuss the making of the Honeymooners was something I won't ever really believe, but will always truly remember. Wish my Dad could know. We watched this every night at 11:30 on WPIX channel 11 NYC. This signature is on the little slip of paper stating which Billy was played by which kid, but I recall the "main"/original/true Billy did this show. I liked the scene in the audience - it was right in front of me.
Miss Randolph spoke of "Mr. Gleason" and "the show" - it was wonderful. She still wore the necklace he gave her in the 1950's.
I hope you like it - be sure to look for the rest of my Honeymooners collection. Never, ever, never did I think I would talk to Trixie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For good measure I spoke also with the very first Trixie - Elaine Stritch (one episode). Unfortunately, she was not quite aware was WAS the first Trixie...oh well. She was standing. ;)
