Marcel Marceau



Marcel Marceau, born Marcel Mangel (Strasbourg, 22 March 1923 – Cahors, 22 September 2007), was a French theater actor and mime, student of Étienne Decroux. He is also known for being the inventor of the moonwalk, a step which was later revised and popularized by Michael Jackson, with his wind walk where he went against an invisible wind going forward, while Michael Jackson proceeded backwards
