I wrote him around 2001, sent him a magazine cover. He replied signing the magazine cover along with a B&W photo which he signed, and a nice letter on West Wing "White House" stationary apologizing  for the delay responding. He also talked politics and then some. If I can remember, I'll post them here for you to see.
