Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum



Daughter of Gerd Siemoneit-Barum, director of Circus Barum, and the English actress, singer and dancer Rosalind Siemoneit-Barum, the redhead was born on October 20, 1977 into a circus family. Already at the age of three she was trained as an acrobat and at the age of four she appeared for the first time before an audience with a pygmy goat dressage. Next, after years as a horseback acrobat and pony whisperer, now nine-year-old Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum appeared alongside two other circus children as a contortionist and ramped up her performances to the point of tightrope walker. She received her years of training from the international artists of the Barum Ensemble and took further lessons at Tanzforum Wien.
