Jeff Gold also has an international reputation for identifying/authenticating items. I would never disparage another sellers items without cause.I was never a fan of the "loop in a loop" sig and have never seen a line/comma after the year inscription. The numbers look right as well as the dot above the "i", which is a recurring theme in his sigs. Usually "arrow shaped", but not always. I certainly wouldn't pay what he's asking......

As was pointed out in this thread, everyone makes mistakes. I guess you don't recall the full length Mercury Letter that was offered yet was not written by Freddie and had him in schools and places he never attended or visited...of course it was pulled, after it was pointed out by several that is was a forgery.That had papers, and other papers too.

I understand that the DD was was not favorably looked upon. Once again, just my opinion, the numbers are spot on. The "B" is kinda funny and a little tight to the "o".

Looks good to me and the numbers are correct. Your thoughts on this and then I have stuff to do. I understand you are a 76'-80' kind of guy........I had this made from a cut. Bought on eBay, no cert.
