He worked in various fields, from reportage to fashion, from the orphans of Đà Nẵng during the Vietnam War to portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Janis Joplin, Brigitte Bardot, Rudolph Nureev, Andy Warhol, Claudia Cardinale and The Beatles
