Nice item Greg. Arkin was very, very funny! He was so very relaxed in Going in Style. I remember seeing Freebie and the Bean in the theater.
That is one of the most unusual Playbill cover designs I ever saw. I must look up a synopsis.
Thanks Eric for your comment. I agree he was very funny, and one of my favorites was The Inlaws with Peter Faulk. If you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend it. Vintage 1977. He was also a great dramatic actor. The Heart is A Lonely Hunter displays his serious side.
Oh, and the Kominsky Method!
He and Jack Lemmon were my two favorite comedic actors. I got to interview him, and get his autograph. THE IN LAWS is one of the best comedies ever made (and Brando's favorite, and reason he did a movie by the screenwriter called The Freshman).
But it's ALAN with one L !!!!!
Thanks Josh Board NEW & IMPROVED for pointing out my dumb mistake. Josh really thanks for letting me know. RIP Alan, he was truly a great actor.
