Margaret Kerry (Los Angeles, May 11, 1929) is an American actress and voice actress. Born in Los Angeles, she began working under her legal name, Peggy Lynch, as a dancer and actress in the series Simpatiche canaglie. She was noticed by Eddie Cantor for her participation in the film Everybody Knows Susanna, who suggested that she take the stage name of Margaret Kerry. She subsequently graduated c** laude from Los Angeles City College. While still a girl, she played the role of Sharon in one of the first sitcoms, The Ruggles, on the ABC television channel. She also starred in two episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and a 1950 episode of The Lone Ranger. Mainly a voice actress, among other activities she dubbed fifty-two episodes of Clutch Cargo, playing, among others, the characters of "Paddlefoot" and "Spinner". Her greatest notoriety came with her participation in The Adventures of Peter Pan, in which she lent her facial features to the creation of the character of Tinker Bell.
Since 1992 she has been a producer, writer and host of the radio show What's Up Weekly on KKLA-FM.
In 2016, Kerry published her autobiography Tinker Bell Talks: Tales of a Pixie Dusted Life (ISBN 978-1533500755) featuring stories and anecdotes from her life and career and one hundred and eighty photos and pieces of art.
