bout 6 years before ray passed I mailed this album cover out it came back with a letter and a pic autographed as well. unsure maybe his secetary or maybe authentic

This is a secretary autograph. The real Ray Charles autograph is very, very rare. I have seen only a few that I will say is authentic.

Yes guys I figured that as much it would be a faked one but hey well

I wished she would have said Mr Charles does not sign sent in items

Ray Charles' secretary was Vernon Troupe. Here's one of Ray's braille Playboys he signed--yes, he actually did read it for the articles. Ray got a lot of braille magazines and he'd leave them in his hotel rooms when he was done, but the hotel staff figured he forgot them and would send them to his next location. So Vernon started signing them all as Ray before they left and just as he thought, the hotel staffs would keep them.

Vernon gave me this one when we got together a number of years ago.
