Of all of these players, I am probably most familiar with Mike Schmidt's signing habits. Being from Philadelphia, and being someone who hung outside the Vet regularly looking for autographs in the 80's, I encountered Schmitty a number of times.

The problem with determining authenticity on Schmidt is that he often would sign his autograph in different styles depending on his mood. I've gotten him several times in person, and each time it looks drastically different. Sometimes it was nice and neat, sometimes very sloppy, and sometimes in between.

This signature looks like an in between example. It has differing characteristics from a neat version of his signature, but also has some similarities. Again, he was a moody guy, and his signatures reflect this. Sometimes he would still sign even if he was grumpy, and you got what he gave you.

I guess what I am trying to say is that with this player, if someone tells you it is not real because it doesn't look like the one they have, that is not enough based on my experiences. Best I can say is that it could be real. I wish I had more to offer. Best of luck.
