Salvata Del Carlo (14 November 1912 - Altopascio (LU) 31 October 2008) was the last survivor of the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. Salvata was still in her mother's lap when the ship sank. In her name the memory of the tragedy where her father died. Her story was told for the first time by the Tyrrhenian Sea in February 1998 and went around the world.

Oh, I see - in utero. The last actual survivor who was born before the sinking was Miss Dean. She signed this 1924 hand tinted photograph of the Adriatic for me. It was this ship that her mother and brother took to return to England. It was also on this ship in 1906 that Titanic's Captain Smith gave an interview stating his life at sea was boring and he'd never been wrecked etc.
