Am in my mid 50s & have been casually collecting autographs (sports,music,prime minsters) since I was a school kid.

My pride & joy is a signed photo of Neil Armstrong.

Why do you collect?

Very very good question and difficult to explain. I guess I like the idea of possessing something that well known personalities have held/touched. Also, every signature is something different and is an element of a celebrity giving something about themselves.

Unfortunately my passion hasn’t transferred to my daughters. I have taken them to meet their favourite sports stars along with pens n pics but regrettably all they are interested in is selfies ?!?!
