What would you like to tell us about yourself, your collecting, or business.

Started collecting autographs as a young boy by writing to celebrities and baseball players. I’m mostly a collector, not a seller at this point. Deceased historic figures and one-of-a-kind items are the autographs I seek now.

What are your favorite collecting groups, communities and clubs?

PSA is a favorite for bringing some legitimacy to the collecting hobby. Although not everyone’s cup of tea, it’s certainly helped with the availability of autographed materials as well as adding a source of trust when purchasing online.

Why do you want to join Autograph Live?

I’d like to keep learning more about the hobby as see what others are collecting. It should also help with recognizing authentic vs. forged autographs and the companies to avoid.

What are your areas of interest?

Sports, Music, Classic Hollywood and Stage, History/Politics, SciFi, Horror

Why do you collect?

It started with autographed baseball cards, balls, and photos. Now I like to find the autographs from people that I find interesting in some way.

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?

I have several that have taken turns as favorites over the years. I can’t say I have one favorite, but I do like to show the Teddy Roosevelt or Charles Manson to interested friends or coworkers.
