What would you like to tell us about yourself, your collecting, or business.

I'm a musician so I've been around a lot of musicians and I'm a big fan so I've waited in line for autographs from a lot of these artists. Most of my collection are in frames and currently in storage but used to hang on the wall in my apartment. I was lucky enough to go backstage to a lot of concerts. And I was also lucky enough that a lot of my favorite artists did signings and record stores that I could go to. Although most of them are from the rock and roll genre there are a few others giving my collection enough diversity to make it conversational. I have no problem sharing mine because I know that they're all real. And you should believe me because none of them are for sale.

Why do you want to join Autograph Live?

I have a big autographed collection that I've gathered over the years 99% of mine are in person autographs that I got myself and none of them are for sale. I wanted to share my collection so that other people can use it to compare in hopes of authenticating their own. And I like hearing about other people's experiences and seeing their collections as well.

Why do you collect?

I clicked handwriting in general I have every note card letter, etc... That I've ever been given. I believe a part of your spirit lives in your handwriting. And I have a collection from artists that I admire from afar makes me feel closer to their art and in my opinion no piece of art is finished without the artists signature on it.

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?

Brian Wilson signed an original Good vibrations 45 sleeve for me backstage at the Santa Barbara bowl in 2001. His autograph in 2001 was evolving into just a b with a slash and a w with a slash. But on this autograph he really concentrated and tried hard to recreate his autograph from the 60s where every letter is legible and both names Brian Wilson are spelled out. He was very friendly that afternoon and he's been my hero since I was about 5 years old. I was so lucky to be invited backstage by his band members who befriended me at the shows in Los Angeles earlier that week with Paul Simon. Paul McCartney was at the second night. The shows were at the Greek theater.
