Up until recently, I only collected from musicians I could meet in person. After having two kids I'm now more open to buying autographs (as I don't get out nearly as much as I used to...)

Why do you collect?

Originally it was to prove that I had met the folks I did, but now it is to have something to give to my sons when they're older. A lot of the musicians that I value (and I hope they will too) won't be around for much longer. I hope that this will cement in their minds that they are/were real people...

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?

Ravi Shankar or Bruce Springsteen (both in person...but not at the same time).
