Why do you collect?

When I hold a document or item signed by someone famous, it's like having a physical connection to the person. I'm fascinated when I read a letter or contract from someone with notoriety. It's provides a glimpse that transcends the person's fame.

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?

James Buchanan written letter.
