Hello all, I just found you guys while cursing the net. I am new to the site but have been collecting autographs for some time. Lots of early (1980's-90's) grunge and others in person. I have three…Continue

About Me

What kind of member are you? (Check as many as apply.)
Collector, Fan
What would you like to tell us about yourself, your collecting, or business.
I have been collecting autographs since the 1980's. It started with the pre-grunge music scene here in Seattle. There was something brewing here, we knew it, but it was just a couple of hundred of us.
My first concert was The Beatles, August 21st 1964, Seattle Memorial Coliseum. I've been hooked ever since.
I collect original Bill Graham Fillmore concert posters.
What is your level of expertise?
Long Time Lover
Why do you want to join Autograph Live?
I was researching David Bowie autographs.
Who can we thank for telling you about us?
BING
What are your areas of interest?
History/Politics, Music, SciFi, Space/Aviation/Military
Why do you collect?
I love meeting and talking with the musicians / celebrities. 99.9% are super nice folks if you are respectful and not phony.
What is your favorite autograph in your collection?
Nirvana "Nevermind" promo flat, signed by the whole band back stage at the last show of the "Nevermind" tour. The one the DVD was made at. Kurt and Chris signed the original spelling of their last names! They only did this for about a month, as they were looking back at family history at the time. I know of no other.
I have to add my Cab Calloway (Minnie the Moocher) to the top. 1980's Bumbershoot Music
Fair, Seattle. In his late 80's and a warm, funny, kind man; with a sly sharp wit. The LP cover is him in a zoot-suit, hands thrown high in the air, he's the "Hi-De-Ho Man", the grandfather of rock & roll. Perfect placement of a wonder signature. I will never forget that night.
You can ask anyone living or dead for their autograph. Who would it be?
Janis Joplin; so I can tell her how beautiful she is.
