Dear Mr Gelb,
Michael Reynard, MD, a specialist in cancelled check autographs is a good friend. He suggested I be in touch with you to get a realistic sense of prices and value.. I have something of a collection of Hollywood autographs.

I thought I would take this path rather than ring you right off. Your magazine seems like a goo starting point.
