I have a personal letter and autograph from David Ogden Stores. I knew him, his dad (Ken) and mom (Maggie). After I moved from Oregon, he sent me a letter and we stayed in touch for many years. I know, personally, he didn't like to give autographs. He gave me a few reasons, but, not sure it is clear to me still, why.
