just yesterday i bought a 1942 copy of Admiral of the Ocean Sea by Samuel Eliot Morison. inside I found a typed letter on water sealed Harvard University paper. Dated May 17th, 1941. It is written to Bertus H. Wabeke and mentions a Mr. Shipley. I do believe this precedes Wabekes works on Dutch Emmigration. As it does speak of this topic with a dry sharp tongue. It is signed S.E. Morison, and as far as i can match up, the signature seems spot on. Anybody know what I should do with this? or where to get this authenticated and/or appraised?
