WHERE are you based?  Depending on what sort of stuff you have Frazers may be a good place to try to sell some of your stuff.  They have just moved from Charing Xross Road and have cheaper commission rates than some of the other auctioneers in England and are not snobby at all when you have to deal with them unlike some of the other English auction houses that deal with signatures.  There are other auction houses in England I could recommend depending on what you have got to sell but that would be my first choice.  They have a sale this december and are looking for people to consign if that is any help .kind regards from rainy England
