COUNTERFEIT PSA/DNA, JSA, AND GAI ITMES STILL BEING SOLD ON EBAY BY THE SAME GROUP!!!!

IN A PREVIOUS BLOG I HIGHLIGHTED 12 EBAY SELLERS THAT WERE COUNTERFEITING PSA/DNA, JSA, AND GAI COA'S/HOLOGRAM'S AND THEN USING THE FAKE COA'S/HOLOGRAM'S TO PASS FORGERIES (FOR THE PREVIOUS BLOG CLICK THIS). - AFTER EBAY REVIEWED THE BLOG THEY REMOVED THE CURRENT AUCTIONS THESE 12 SELLERS HAD ON EBAY. IT IS STILL UNCLEAR IF THE 12 ACCOUNTS WERE BEING RAN BY 1 INDIVIDUAL OR SEVERAL, BUT ALL 12 ACCOUNTS WERE CONNECTED. FOR THE LAST MONTH I HAVE TRACKED THIS PATTERN OF COUNTERFEIT COA'S/HOLOGRAM'S AND FOUND 15 NEW ACCOUNTS BEING RAN BY THIS SAME INDIVIUAL/INDIVIDUALS.

THE ACCOUNTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

I INCLUDED PICTURES OF JUST A FEW ITEMS THIS GROUP OF SELLERS ARE PASSING OFF AS AUTHENTIC ON EBAY WITH THE COUNTERFEIT COA'S/HOLOGRAM'S. THIS GROUP IS A HUGE THREAT TO EBAY AND YOU THE COLLECTOR. THEY HAVE A TENDANCY TO STICK WITH PLAYERS WHO ARE NO LONGER ALIVE AND OTHER HIGH-PROFILE PLAYERS. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE OTHER ITEMS THESE SELLERS HAVE SOLD OR ARE SELLING, THERE ARE DOZENS AND DOZENS OF EXAMPLES OF THEIR SCAM.

The violations also includes EBAYs posting policies where in this specific case; EBAY AUCTION# 170891137426, EBAY SELLER: elcapitansports, CLICK LINK.  the COA is not clearly depicted nor properly described in the description.  James u ought to be able to report any and all that fall into this category as well for immediate removal even if they have sold.

I believe, for the moment, that a number of listed items that were currently up for sale by a number ot the above have been removed for Policy Violations at the moment.

HEY DB, THAT'S GREAT NEWS! I JUST CHECKED THE ACCOUNTS LISTED ABOVE AND I BELIEVE SELLERS: wilkesracing AND gunemptyfalcon STILL HAVE ITEMS UP, BUT ALL OF THE OTHER ITEMS WERE REMOVED. I DID TRY TO REPORT THESE ACCOUNTS TO EBAY AND NOTHING WAS DONE SO WHATEVER YOU DID I THANK YOU. I GET SO TIRED OF SEEING THIS GROUP GET AWAY WITH THIS SCAM.

gone.  sometimes it just takes time but it would appear to me that the way these items were posted they were deceptive in nature.  Since a number of them are private oriented let's hope those who did buy can discern real from memorex.

This may be a stupid question, but are these counterfeit certificates? i definetly see where they arent showing the coa, but do you guys think that the stickers/cards are copies somehow? I am only curious b/c if such copies exist i am going to have to really start examining items better. Are their any ways you could tell a fake sticker/card from an original? Up to this point i hadnt payed much thought to such, but that could be a huge problem if someone gets it down pat.

we have heard of counterfeit ones but I don't recall if we had actually seen many or any of them...   there are also lots of claims from generic oriented coa's issued by various places that the ones that appear with an item were not issues for that piece.

with regards to this suite it appears that they are a "legitimate" cert however there is a distinct pattern of deceptiveness.  The cert is either too small or blurry to read or in many cases as was done with these listings purposely hidden for the most part to give the allusion that an EBAY listed reputable authenticator.  The specific positioning of the cert was done way too often to be, imo, an oversight.

Of course, since they have been removed perhaps they will be relisted and in compliance with EBAY posting policies.
