I was layed off from my job about 3 months ago, so I have plenty of spare time to surf ebay for autographs. Now I don't claim to be an expert but I doubt it takes an expert to recognize that these sellers are selling fake autographs on eBay.

Here is the list, and a brief description of what they are selling, check the sellers current and completed auctions for plenty of examples. No COA's are ever shown in these auctions and if they are, they are on eBay's banned list or a made-up company. Someone on this website has to have some pull, please leave comments if you want, thanks.

thousands of dollars wasted and hundreds of people tricked (tricked might be giving these sellers too much credit). i just don't understand how eBay allows this stuff to continue to go down.

Hi James,

My favorite topic!

If you want to paste links to anything with banned COAs here,  we'll send them to eBay and they will pull them quickly.

If you send links to eBay listings of autographs you're sure are bad, and others here agree with you, we'll send them to eBay and they'll remove the listings if the person they send them to says they're bad, too.

He has other ACE items in the completed and in the current, the thing that worries me is that he has so many JSA items also...

What worries you about the JSA ones?

Comment by Lou reves on June 25, 2012 at 3:31pm

Steve does that go for the bad PSA stuff on ebay to?

Comment by DB on June 25, 2012 at 3:47pm

Louie, can't speak for steve but there are no sacred cows from my viewpoint be they PSA, JSA or episcapalian from my viewpoint.

the ACE ones ought to be gone shortly.

Last I heard it was harder to remove bad stuff certified by eBay's approved authenticators, Louie, but we'll send them to eBay if they're clearly bad. Heston, Gleason secretarials and other secretarials are pretty easy to remove, but otherwise it can be tough.

If anyone finds material obviously bad, no matter who authenticated it, we'll send it in. eBay appreciates the help.

Let's also not forget that Trust & Safety is not made up of hundreds of people who in turn half to keep up with thousands of daily postings.  Also notice on the kanddcollectibles items that in some cases he has camoflauged them and not noted them in the description as he seems to do with many others.  An oversight?  Perhaps... but since becoming a cynic I'm of the mindset the seller is doing this by design to avoid the "scanning".

I haven't seen eBay take down any Episcopalians in a long time, DB.
