Jim,

if that is a fake, then in my opinion that's a pretty good fake. Thanks for sharing those details it's valuable information.  I have to definitely share the info with some of the other big collectors in my network.

Do you have anymore vintage signatures for sale or trade? The last Ed sig I got was a Uke - that he signed during his solo tour- He doesn't like to sign Uke's for some reason- Guess he's afraid of the flippers. I sow two signed during the tour, mines and one other. I chased him down for about 8 shows, until i finally got it signed.

thanks

I actaully don't sell autographs anymore. Nice score on the Uke, i have one. He signed it for me a couple years ago.

The early stuff I had I mostly purchased. I was way to young to be following the band around. But I would only buy from people who had valid provenance and could prove they got it. Obviously I would still have to take their word for it, but they had to show real credibility. I've seen and owned a lot of cool unique items- I agree the early stuff was the best, because they didn't care and would write anything. For example that framed photo where he is hanging from the stage props- He wrote "Air Vedder" / "Stupid Eddie" - he was wearing Jordan's in the photo. I'll have to upload some more stuff. I have a few more unique items.

thanks,

Hey, Jim. Do you have any examples of the Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley forgeries? Knowing what known forgeries looks like can be as helpful as knowing what authentic autographs look like.

Interesting comments. I bought a vedder signed single myself on eBay some months ago. It was PSA authentified. It was an autograph from Seattle from the mid 90's, it looked exactly like the go single from your link. So I guess it's likely genuine.
But I have to say there is not much difference with the autograph in the opening post that Jim knows 100% sure is not authentic. Mine and the go single maybe are a tiny bit more on a flat line but where's the exact difference? Jim, can you confirm the go single is authentic (first picture on the fifth line)? The vs cd must be a very good forgery then...
Thx for feedback

The vitalogy cd's also look exactly the same to me. And I don't see a difference with the fake VS-cd.... But I am no expert, hope you can give some more info here.

Here's a link to an early EV sig that I sold last year . Back in the day if he was in a good mood he would draw something or just sign EV . http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/how-can-one-possibly...

Cool item Cooper.

Does anyone have any Pearl Jam items they'd like to sell? Or Nirvana items? I'm more of a PJ fan, but would be interested in some Nirvana stuff, too.

thanks guys,

Wish I still had the PJ sigs . It sold on EBay for $75 last year with only one bid , lol. Thought it would have gone for at least $100 .At least I got my money back. Some PJ fan is very happy , haha
