My husband is an extremely avid collector of baseball memorabilia. I completely trust his judgement and decisions in this area. Here lately he has been going away from his norm and buying music related items. Partly because the person he bought from is a very successful dentist who, my husband thinks, would only have authentic pieces in his collection. I am concerned because he is selling the pieces for a fraction of what my husband says their worth. I do know that the dentist is going through a nasty divorce and that is probably what is contributing to the sell of his collection so reasonably and hastily. I just want to make sure my husband knows what he is spending our money on. Thank you and I hope anyone can help.

Hi Adriane,

I left this as a blog because you spent so much time putting it together. Excellent job!

In the future, please post these under Authenticity Opinions.

Thanks

You are right to be concerned, unfortunately. These definitely aren't authentic in my opinion.

Wow -- really bad forgery. Company who sold this garbage should be sued.  My motto has always been to never buy anything from a dentist.

Not real, and when there are so many great Beatles forgeries out there...this is a pretty bad one.

Here's a few facts from a limey -

1. There is no such address as '309 The Strand'

2. There is no such postcode as 'WPR OLX'

3. According to Companies House records, there has never been an 'Anderson & Leaner Inc' registered in the UK.

4. No British company would have 'Inc' in its name. British companies are 'Limited' not incorporated.
