Magnificent Vince DiMaggio Signed Baseball

First of all, let me say that I am knew to this site and this is my first post.  I have been a long time reader, but just recently joined.  I recently came across this Vince DiMaggio Signed Baseball listed online.  The ball looks amazing and almost seems too good to be true.  As you all know, Vince signed baseballs are impossible to find and one in this condition is unheard of.  My questions are A.)  Do you think it is real and B.)  If it is real what is it worth.  Any/All opinions are appreciated - Thanks

It is a Feeney Ball.  It looks good, but with so few exemplars on a ball it's hard to tell.  The felt tip aspect concerns me, but there aren't any blotchy slow spots or stopping.  If it is real it has to be the best there is which is the 1 major concern i have.

that is a posivite (Feeney ball). you are right in that there are not any balls to compare it to.  the V does look a little tentative. and the break between the a and g is non-typical. but it would be good. It is just sloppier than the ones I have seen, and it may be because its a ball.

I know, I am eager to hear what others have to say.  It looks like it would grade at least an "8"  I just wondered how this beauty suddenly surfaced as in this condition it has to be worth a lot and since signed balls are so rare it seems like it would have been graded and listed for sale previously.  I don't know how to price such a rare item.  I probably can't afford it anyways so I don't even know why I care!

this is a really nice Vince D signed ball, and it is totally consistent with his other signatures.  Compare them and draw your own conclusions.

I've seen that one before.  There are so many small details that would be hard to copy that match perfectly, yet there are other things that seem a bit off, but then again that could have to do with the felt tip pen.  It is a very interesting ball and it did pass quick opinion, but that isn't enough evidence for me.  I'm sure others will share their thoughts.  Thanks for your opinion.
