At one of the Indian casinoes in town, in late November, Bob Eubanks and Jamie Farr (Klinger on MASH) are going to be hosting some gameshow type of contest. I'm sure they'd be available for autographs, if anyone is interested. It's at Sycuan.

On TMZ yesterday, they showed baseball stud A-Rod leaving a restaurant. A few other players were leaving, and signed autographs for the 10 children waiting. A-Rod only signed three, before hopping into a car. The TMZ staff commented on how mean it was the didn't sign more. But I'd think for a huge All-Star like that, who is always hounded, especially by eBay guys (that often use kids to trick them into signing), that wasn't so bad.

They later showed Chris Rock in Washington, D.C. (go see his documentary GOOD HAIR; it's great). He went over to a huge crowded that was waiting for him. He first signed for a guy in a wheelchair, before taking a photo with him. The cameraman asked why the guy in the wheelchair got an autograph first. Rock looked a bit confused, before saying "Uh...because he's in a wheelchair," as he signed for the rest of the large crowd.

On Inside Edition that same night, they showed Kate Gosselin signing autographs. She was supposed to sign for an hour, but only stayed for 30 minutes. Not because she was mean and just left. There wasn't a crowd that was even there bothering to get her signature.

And lastly...as I sat down with People Magazine from Oct 26, 2009 (Letterman on the cover, with that kidnapped girl who escaped the man that fathered her two children)...

They had perhaps the best autograph photo ever.

It was on their last page, and it was Vern Troyer (Mini-me from the Austin Powers films). He was at a red carpet event in England, and as I signed photos for the crowd behind a fence, they all had to lean down. He had to reach up. For some reason, I just find this photo so cute. And as an autograph collector, I like it for the obvious reasons. He's signing for the fans.

What i always found funny about vern troyer was his voice . So when he talked in his movies or interviews always a riot.
