Wearing Jersey Leads to Autograph -- The Odell Beckham/Drake Edition

Terrell Owens was denied entry into the NFL Hall of Fame for a second time, which shows just how ridiculous the system is. He was one of the best receivers to ever play the game. Also one of the biggest dopes, but still. It’s not like the NFL threw OJ Simpson out after he murdered two people (allegedly).

I thought about Owens yesterday, because of a touchdown he had, and created one of the goofiest celebrations ever; but one that autograph collectors adored. It was when he scored a touchdown, pulled a Sharpie out of his sock, and then autographed the ball before tossing it out to a fan.

The reason I thought about that was because of rapper Drake at a concert in London recently. Somebody was wearing a jersey of Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants.

So in the middle of this concert at the O2 arena, he took the jersey from the guy, because….Beckham was backstage at the show (he has been on tour with him hanging out). He called him out and had him autograph the jersey, while the fan in the audience freaked out.

Drake signed the jersey as well, before handing it back to the fan.

Always nice when you hear about artists going above and behind when it comes to autographs. And like I’ve said so many times before...if you’re going to get an artists autograph, try wearing a shirt that relates to them somehow. When Don Felder of the Eagles dissed me, and there were only 3 fans waiting for him...I know he would’ve had I found my Hotel California T-shirt that morning.
