I have a number of Ginger Rodgers autographs including two that were obtained in person. The others were from dealers who I have found to be reliable. The signature you have posted differs from every example I have seen. I would regard it as suspicious.

Fyi.... If you have had them signed in person, what if her signature evolved a bit from the 40's to the 80's?

Unless it was inscribed or had a strong provenance I would probably pass on this one. Check google images "ginger rogers autograph." Some of these are secretarial. Early movie star autographs are usually more valuable but also more difficult to authenticate.

Check out my entry on my authentication guide, Ginger Rogers at www.TheCEAD.com. I think you'll find it extremely useful and it will quickly answer your question.
