Why do you collect?

Most of my jazz hero autographs were obtained personally at one of their performances....Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Rollins, Freddie Hubbard, Jackie McLean, Kenny Burrell, Cedar Walton, Johnny Griffin, Phil Woods, Lou Donaldson, etc....It's a momento of a time when I had the honor of being in the presence of greatness! The others were collected simply because they are heroes of mine who passed away before I had the honor of hearing them live, like Woody Shaw, Cannonball Adderley, Blue Mitchell, Pepper Adams, etc.

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?

A LP signed by my favorite trumpet player, the late great Lee Morgan!!
