I collect a variety of signatures including sports figures, comic book artists & writers, as well as some folks involved in tv & film.

Why do you collect?

I guess so I can feel a small connection to people who I've admired or have influenced me in some way. Honestly, they are all just people in the end.

What is your favorite autograph in your collection?

My favorite is of James "Jimmy" Stewart who was born in my home town. I once wrote him a Christmas card & he was kind enough to write me back & thanked me for all my kind comments. "It's A Wonderful Life" is corny as hell, but I never miss it. Remember, "no man is a failure who has friends".
