Why do you want to join Autograph Live?
quite simply, wanted to check it out and others like it. although I am not selling my Beatles autographs which belonged to my parents, its just nice to hear other views. My father was very lucky in the job he was in to obtain them. I sold one set a good number years back for about £1200.00 as things were really tight at the time, If my father was alive, he would have understood. The dealer had offered to purchase the other one which I declined to sell. The set I have here is a hurried one on the back of a 1963 ten shilling note of all things. it was all my father had at the time as mum was crazy about them. first set was on a pay slip which his other work mate got for him for nothing as he couldn't stand the band. bad taste he had.maybe one day if it got real tight again, I might let them go, until then, I will just hold onto my fathers medals and some really close chosen things of my mums.I will keep them for a wee investment for the boys, I know they would sell them when I go to hell or heaven. I know they wouldn't sell some of the others I have, never, never, never. ( Stones ) I think its because they can connect with them as they have the e been to a Stones concert. and there is so many fakes out there, I couldn't face some idiot calling my dead father a lair or something like that.He was a hard man but an honest man, and I respected that, but I still have a laugh when I look at the autographs that his workmate got for him for nothing. If he only knew at the time.
