"Kim, I wasn’t clear. This is not an autopen. It’s a forgery, and the forger uses a system that appears to be a computer and something like a plotter. It varies the signatures, sometimes ever so slightly."

"The Autopen was introduced in 1942. There were earlier devices. Earliest I have seen is 1944 - William Bendix if memory serves. I have read Truman was the first President to use one."
