This guy has had like 5-6 different accounts and he targets signed cds. He sells almost impossible to get signed items at bargain basement prices. The Buckley forgery above is pretty convincing and would fool a novice. But there are mistakes in the way it leans and the stems of the two fs in Jeff. He’s fooled 11 too many people with this one. His current name is xfiveatfx(2053) he must be stopped before he takes anyones money!

Also the screenshots listed above show some of this guys absolutely ludicrous listings and the amount of people he’s fooled. This guy is a serial forger but he stays under eBay’s radar because of his feedback. He’s probably sold thousands of fakes.

Hey there!

Only registered here to say thanks for the heads-up on this person. I bought one item from them, albeit, with an alarmingly low price and immediately became very suspicious. After watching the seller's listings for a period of time, yes, there are a lot of very difficult to acquire items being sold simultaneously. And people seem to be none-the-wiser for it, as you mention. Very frustrating.

I inquired about the origins of these items and received no response to it. Did you have any more information to share about this seller? How has this person not been caught?

Thanks again for spotlighting this person.

I appreciate you looking at this. This guy is obviously still at large he’s been doing this for years. The best thing you can help me do is to tell others about this thread and spread the word. Im sure the more eyes we get on this the more we can force eBay’s hand and get them to take action. Thanks

Will do. I had searched their username several times earlier, to no avail. Everything felt wrong about the offerings, so I tried to research a bit. I only just recently searched again (...thinking, someone has to be complaining about this, at this point!), only to find your posting here.

I'm glad to see someone else has figured this person out. I mean, he just sold a "signed" Mitch Hedberg CD for around $450. I also watched an obviously fake signed Beastie Boys - Licensed To Ill CD for $250. Nobody, anywhere, would sell that, if real, for anywhere near that low of a price. Nevertheless, someone bought it. Along with countless other CD's by this seller...

At first, I thought it was just a seller liquidating some oddball signed CD's. But the inventory kept amassing and the bands, in question, were fairly rare and all at once. No one sells a signed Bjork CD, Metallica CD, Megadeth CD, Violent Femmes CD, Mitch Hedberg CD, Jeff Buckley CD, Kanye West CD, and Rocket From The Crypt CD's (Fake RFTC signed CD, really?) all at the same spot, at the same time. And certainly not for that little of money, when all of those fetch more than that on the regular.

Again, thanks for the awareness and your effort!

Also someone purchased that bad Buckley for $490.50 on may 7th. I feel bad for whoever lost money being tricked by that duplicitous fake. If genuine a Jeff Buckley autograph on a grace cd or an item from that era usually fetches 800-1200 easily. The more people that get fooled by forgers like this the longer they stay in business. This is also bad for the hobby because guys like this scumbag devalue the authentic items by making them appear worth less. I will not rest until I expose this serial forger and everyone else like him who are a disgrace to this hobby I’ve been a part of for near a decade.

Wow, didn't know the Buckley sold. It instantly had like ten watchers, so it's unfortunate that one of those people couldn't convey the illegitimacy of the item, as surely one of those knew that was a fake. There was simply no way to do it via eBay's site.

The user had previous accounts, as well?
