These are hand signed by Cormac McCarthy.

No reason to worry.

Release of the year for sure (maybe the best ever wide release like this).

Never been so lucky in my book collecting days than today. After striking out like most, yesterday my local Barnes and Noble posts on their Facebook account  about the release of the book. Nothing special in the post, but I just so happened to see it and without thinking about it asked in the comments if they received any signed copies. Didn't have any hope but I thought what the hell. I didn't think anything about it and had forgotten about it until this afternoon, the B&N manager sends me a direct message telling me they had one copy and they were holding it for me. Even got it on an educator's discount. Couldn't believe it.

Congrats great story

Hell yes, fellow educator!

Great story. I felt really lucky to get my copy too. I'm an educator as well (community college), but it never occurred to me that I might be eligible for discounts. Hmm...

Yes, as an educator B&N gives you a 10% discount.  My sister is a principal.  You have to show them some sort of ID.  God bless all you educators.  :)

Just a note of caution some of those guys on eBay are selling on the false hope that books a million is sending them 20 copies so don’t lock up 1k for Christmas without people having those books in hand

Everyday that passes it ticks closer to 0% BAM or any big retailer ships. It’s probably already 0%.

What do you think happened to the remaining copies? They were all sent to independent bookstores? I wish the publisher would give us information on how many copies there are.

Independents and Barnes and nobles got a few so maybe the others will too but it’s gonna be sparse still

Barnes just sent out an email advertising signed copies for members.

I'm a member, but didn't get the email. Could you pass along the info? What's the process?
