Joe Dimaggio or Joe Difauxggio ?

I could use some help.  I got the ball in a small grouping of vintage stuff.  I only paid 35 for the whole lot so I have nothing in the ball.  The signature looks like the pen was running out of ink.  Any help and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
