Free Buy, Sell and Trade Group

A place for members to buy, sell and trade genuine autographs.

Before you list

Please do your best to make sure your autographs are genuine BEFORE you post them here. Ask for opinions in the appropriate forum here, such as Is This Autograph Real? or in forums or groups on the kinds of autographs you have.

If you're interested in something and you're not sure it's genuine, you can post a link in the appropriate forum or group, as mentioned above.

AML simply maintains this free group, and does not guarantee or carefully review the authenticity of autographs offered for sale, or that buyers will pay for their purchases. We will, however, try to help members resolve disputes as a courtesy.

If you see something here that's a likely forgery, please reply with your opinion and contact David Jackson, the group moderator.

Thanks...and good luck!

once reposted you can come back and delete your comment.

DB, you can include a message with a friend request, so it kills two birds with one stone. Everything further should be in the rules discussion, which David is in charge of. I'll leave it to him to handle now.

Actually, we need to move this to the rules discussion, not comments.

You didn't do anything wrong and we hadn't discussed this...sorry. I completely agree that there should be no links in this group for anyone. That's not what it's all about, and the group will simply turn into a zillion links to eBay auctions.

I would like site supporters to be able to use the group like everyone else, though, but that's a decision the group members need to make when you discuss the rules.

yeah, i didnt know about site supporters.  I wasnt trying to cut you out Kasmar.  sorry.  feel free to post again and welcome.

Careful: When you put your email address in a post, it's probably going to get picked up by spammers. It's best to have people contact you through the site and then you can give your email to them privately.

the THREAD RULES should be clearly posted in the MAIN THREAD wording of before you LIST;  the example of NO links... the example of what to do if contesting a post.  Another thought is to open a separate MODERATED thread as to the Rules so it can merely be referred to.   The rules also need to be enforced as well.

I agree. The rules can be listed concisely in "BEFORE YOU LIST", above the group discussion forum. That way no one will miss them.

That said, I think sponsors should be able to use this group to buy, sell or trade in.

All the more reason to get rules in place.

Great idea! We definitely can do something like that for sponsors like Autograph Pros. They help pay the bills so collectors can trade here for free.
