Acceptable humidity for storage?

I've been wondering what the acceptable ranges are for the proper storage of signed documents, primarily autographed records. I happen to live in an area where the summer can have tremendous swings in humidity and I don't want to risk damaging some of my signed albums. I also am considering storing in a basement safe but the basement can get a bit damp. Anyone familiar with S.A.A.S ?

I saw some documents recently authenticating some Rock memorabilia from a company in Florida called S.A.A.S that was dated in the late 90's. The examiner that signed them was T. Emerson Yates and although I was told he is no longer doing this (deceased possibly?) , I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding him or his company. What do you collect, or want to start collecting?: Music

Tell us more about your collection, specific areas of interest, etc.:: Many signed records, primarily Rock but also other music styles and some movies. I have recently aquired a large collection from an aquaintance so I am trying hard to learn more about autographs. I also have many signed items I got signed in person but that was before I got into signed albums.
