Got the autograph of Stan Musial in the mail on Monday. Stan is a 1969 inductee of the Baseball Hall of Fame, and was a 24-time National League All-Star, and was the the National League MVP in 1943 and 1946.

Now that I have a minute......got an autograph on Monday of Baseball Hall of Famer, Stan Musial. Stan was a 24-time National League All-Star, had over 3,600 hits, over 400 homeruns, and was National League MVP in 1943 and 1946.

- I really enjoy collecting sports figures and athletes by either in person appearances or through the mail. However, I have started to branch out into other areas such as movies, history, etc.

- Mickey Mantle (my wife got it for me last Christmas!)
- Why do you collect?
- It is a way to connect with the heros and famous people I have read about or seen in action. Having there autograph is like owning a small piece of their time on this side of eternity.
