It isn't typical, but it does contain strong characteristics of his authentic signature. The inscription compares very well to similar inscriptions from him. The Paul and Ringo signatures look nothing like their authentic signatures, but compare very well to proxy signatures from George. Hope that helps.

Could you please post examples of George signing for others when you have the time? I agree, it's not a typical Harrison signature and it sets me off, and like Terrier, I'd like to know more. But the inscription does look like it could be George's.

If you don't believe that it was signed by George, I be interested to know how these signatures came about. Specifically, why does the inscription appear to be in George's hand, why does the George signature look so much better than the other three, and why do the other signatures share characteristics with examples of George's proxy signatures? Thanks.

I still can't explain it. Thank you for posting the other examples of George signing. I just don't see the resemblance in George's signature, or any of the others that George signed. This one looks totally different to me. oh well.

I just discovered this forum, and your opinions have been a revelation for me. I spent good (but not crazy) money on both this program as well as the fan club card. I realize that verified Beatle signatures can run well upwards of $10K and much higher. I am aware of the vast amount of signatures from the early 60's which were signed by Aspinall, Evans, Kelley, and other staffers, but figured that that sometimes it's worth taking these chances. If this program was signed by George, I will be very happy. I will take a clean shot of the signatures on the reverse side and post shortly. Thanks again, all.

Here are a few shots of the signatures on the backside of the program. They are very consistent with the signstures on the front. I have also included a shot of an original watercolor from Stuart Sutcliffe which I purchased directly from his sister Pauline a few years back. This dates from either 56 or 57. Has a nice Sutcliffe signature, as opposed to SS , which he had signed on a number of his student sketches during that time period. Any guess on value on this article?
