I really feel sorry for her that she thinks it's a real Paul McCartney autograph. I guess the one who sent it to her just wanted to make her happy, but it makes me feel uncomfortable when I see how much she wants to believe it is indeed authentic......

She seemed ro me not too concerned whether it was real or no. I think it seemed she was more blown away by the kind gesture and sometimes people just want something to believe in. I think she seemed pretty level headed by it and not saying she was certain it was real. Nice to see younger collectors, i just hope if she does try to collect legitimate autographs in the future she finds a website like this.

It looks like it came from Autographs America/Autographs Network, which had what seemed like an endless 90% off sale.

I think it's kind of like watching a movie, you know its all fake but somehow you forget that and get emotionally attached like it is real.

I think that is where she is with the autograph and I see no harm in it, especially since it was a gift and not any kind of financial loss.

And if you are a big autograph collector, more likely than not you have an autograph in your collection that is fake that you have no clue about and never will. I triple check all my stuff but I am fairly certain something got by at some point. Can't imaging I bought right 100% of the time. Ignorance can be bliss.
