Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures' or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

4th Jan 17: Parr is re-offering the 'Mickey and Minnie in Love', again for 99p start with free P+P.

He changed his ebay seller name to bertsterneurope (because he also offers a lot of Bert Stern photos for sale).

There has been prior discussion about the creation of various fake 'MJ signed' drawings in this thread. You might like to look at page 75, where there was a discussion of a drawing of Michael and Mickey, offered for sale by Simon Parr auctions. This drawing was based on (ie copied from) an original genuine fan painting. The fan created her painting (called 'Going Home') after she attended the public MJ memorial service in LA. The painting was uploaded to a popular art website, to share with fans. The forger made a poor crayon copy and signed it 'Michael Jackson'. I suppose Michael WAS at his own memorial service, but hardly in a position to create crayon drawings afterwards...

This profile of a bearded man seems to turn up as regularly as Santa Claus. There is a 'collection' of these profiles on page 15 of this thread, dated December 2014.

This one is from wide_savannah, asking $2295 in December 2016.

The seller says there are several documents with this, including an 'LOA from Epic' and a valuation from 'Value my stuff'.
