I wouldn't go anywhere near either of these...

Just plain awful...

Thank you, Don
Some other opinions, please.

I to am not comfortable with these Karsten, but....they do have a good look of the 1973-75 era

Mark, the year 1972 is not confirmed. Maybe you are right with ca. 1973 to 1975.
But they still look Authentic for you?
As l said I'm not comfortably with them...sorry...
Thank you Mark.
Some other opinions? Would be great.

What are these signed on? Hilton Hotel napkins? Other? Can you zoom out? Or is that all we're working with?

You know, they used to spot Elvis' ghost in the freight elevator.

You're right. Green cloth Hilton Hotel Napkin.

Well, Elvis was there, repeatedly, from 1969 on, and these two napkins were signed by the same writer, although we can't rule out reverse engineering forgery. That is, seeing, then buying old Hilton Hotel napkins, knowing Elvis was there, in order to develop a more convincing forgery. Any idea as to the year(s) they used this color for their napkins?

Here's the story on one of them, from a Heritage auction:

Elvis Presley Autographed Green Las Vegas Hilton Cloth Napkin in Elaborate Shadowbox Wall Display (1972). From 1969 until his death in 1977, Elvis appeared regularly at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, generally twice a year, for a total of more than 800 performances. On August 4, 1972, Elvis opened his one-month stint there during a very trying period in his life. He had recently separated from his wife, Priscilla, and their marriage was doomed. Still, the show must go on and, once again, he broke his own Vegas attendance records. On one of those August evenings, Elvis signed this linen table napkin for a lucky fan, "Thank you, Elvis Presley". She has written out the story of the meeting in longhand which is included in this lot. It reads, in part: "I was in Las Vegas with my girlfriend in August of 1972. We were sitting in front row, before the end of the concert, one of Elvis' bodyguards/ publicist type people asked us (and a few other women) to come back stage after the concert. We were escorted back to a room where we all sat for about 15 minutes. Then ELVIS walked in. He was gorgeous, polite & very nice! We thanked him for the great concert and he signed autographs for all of us. Mine was on this green hotel napkin that I took from my table... I will never forget it!" The napkin has been beautifully double matted with various Vegas performance photos to an overall 22.75" x 29.75" x 1.5". Excellent condition and ready to hang on your wall. If you're the lucky bidder, you may want to start practicing telling the story about the night you met Elvis. COA from Rich Consola.. THIRD PARTY SHIPPING REQUIRED.

So, how many signed green linen Las Vegas Hilton napkins did Elvis sign?
