Hi All-
First time poster. I collected autographs about 10-15 years ago, buying from various sources. I have about 300-500 in my varied collection, but today got the hankering to see if my Clark Gable autographed picture was indeed real.

I took a pic and compared it to authenticated autographs online, and it looks solid and not secretarial, but I found this site and would like some informed opinions.

Thank you for your time.

I do not think this is authentic. Here is some examples for comparison.

Joe, if you don't mind, take a look at the attached signed check. Besides the curly capital 'C'. which I noticed he didn't do on every auto, the signature looks nearly identical -- the sizing & spacing in particular.

I still stand with my original post. Here is a UACC Gable signature study. Not trying to convince anyone, just giving my opinion. Gable signed his check using a different "G" than most of his autographs to fans. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule though.

I'm with Joe. Nice check though.
