Sorry, this is not real.

Sorry, forgery/enthusiasts signature.

For comparison, here is a lottery ticket Bowie signed with his "full" signature and deposited in a original Warhol jacket he was loaned during the filming of the 1995 biopic Basquiat by Schnabel in which he played Andy opposite Jeffery Wright.

gracias.  It was supposed to be a really rare 1966 sig so I thought that was maybe how he signed his name  back then;- but clearly not.  thanks

thanks

thanks richard

Here is an early one: 1973?

Very welcome Michelle.

This looks like a very early one to me - you can see a virtually identical one here from when David was 19. Certainly his signature changed later on when he became more famous, but this looks like an early one.

1967 Letter to a US fan

Possible but need to see more from these early years. How do you know that is not a secretary or other? It looks like his, but then again not.

I don't think he would have had a secretary when he was so young at only 18/19?

Have just discovered it was Ken Pitt who signed these on behalf of DB...(Michelle's example and the last one posted by James)
