I've had this for some time. I bought it from an eBay seller who was selling off a number of items dedicated to "Albert". As far as I remember, Albert ran or worked in a record store in Chicago or New York. I wish I'd kept a copy of the eBay listing.

The autograph is on the cover of the 78 box set "Songs by Sinatra". This came out in 1947. There is no box now, just the detached thick card cover.

This was one of those impulse buys. I'm not a huge Sinatra fan but he was a colourful and talented character and the story about Albert was also appealing. The cover itself and the bold dedication and signature also had "eye appeal" for me.

I know that there are plenty of good secretarials around but this just feels right to me.

Any opnions, also date-wise if likely real? I attach an enlargeable image below:

P.S. Note the artistic cropping.

P.P.S. Has anyone noticed the slight similaritly between Sinatra's capitals and those of Lennon in the late 70s and Monroe in the mid-50s?

Genuine, imo.
