To be auctioned at Lots Rd Auctions in a relatively affluent area of Chelsea known to attract big bidders and also available online internationally via the saleroom.
Lots auctions, have also sold or tried to sell a number of fakes by the stones and as you say its in a very affluent part of London;- Ihave been there a few times in the past and wasnt very impressed by their knowledge of the goods they were selling
Great post Mark! I thought I had seen that before. An incomplete copy with apparent misunderstanding of some strokes that are close physically. Look at the interaction of the "a" and "!" in the original "thanx for a great show!" - it has become "thanxs for A great show". I'd have to look and see him using a capital "A" like that. In any event, although a very different animal in some ways than the lyrics, this is not good.
Well spotted Eric, the forger was so thick they thought the upper stalk of the apostrophe below was actually a capital A. It would also have to have been an absolute freak of a ballpoint pen to have survived so "freshly" blue 44 years on.
