Really interesting to see those signatures overlaid like that, it seems to me to be Gigers estate or spouse trying to cash in on the fact that prints signed by HR Giger are increasingly rare and their value reflects that. This is confusing the issue of authenticity, even the seller of this particular print wasn't sure if it was a print signed in person by the artist. As goodcat states, without the artists signature it would be a $20 print surely and even with a genuine Greg lake signature not worth $500.

Can't thank you guys enough for helping out with this, it's fascinating stuff.

'3 D glasses" :)

Sure, no problem. I can't quite understand these sellers and and their confusion. It is stated clearly on the cert and on the print what it is and is not. One minute they want the certificates, next minute they apparently aren't reading them!

Here's one with all three signatures, and looks like one of the 9.800 lithograph prints. Have aked seller for a look at the COA which will be interesting. ..

Hello David,

That is very useful. At least seller is selling 3 sigs and not 4. Not "pencil". Now we know "for sure" the original edition was released with only the Giger plate signature - the others were added sometime after and need their own examination. I would look to see as many as possible to see if thses were group signed or piecemeal, and when.

Yes indeed, am waiting on response from seller, it's expensive but if authentic a fantastic item.

What do you guys think of signatures on this one, no idea of price but you can bet it's bout $1000.

Yes more useful on this one.

These look relatively good but for that price, I'd want more eyes on it. Plus... if this Lake sig is good, then I would assume the other one you posted (Greg Lake/Giger) could be good as well. At the very least they are signed by the same hand. That "G" makes it clear.

Also... As far as I have read, most of the all 3 signed (not including IP) pieces were done individually and not as a group. They were not friends off-stage and had to be tracked down for specialty items, and Lake was the most difficult to have sign. It might be different for these pieces because of the close relationship w/ Giger but I can't say for sure.

To be honest... this is what I would. You can get a legit Giger signed print for under $500. Then buy that BSS 3 signed CD for $100+ and mount them together. This gives you 4 Legit sigs for well under $1000 w/ framing costs.

Yes was going down that route but a Giger signed and numbered lithograph of BSS is still really expensive, and as yet we haven't seen one, only the ones with printed signatures, but will keep looking and u never know, however prices for his signed prints are getting more expensive as time goes by.

An ELP signed BSS album or CD cover may be more affordable, I'm still not really drawn to the signed cd cover presently on eBay as I still have no word from seller as to any provenance. I like to know where these type of things are from as it's part of their charm, and when they are passed on usually their story of when and where they were signed etc usually goes with them unless there is something to hide maybe, I don't know..I nearly pressed buy on that CD a dozen times lol.

I still can't thank you guys enough for helping me out with this.
