I will let the others way in but I do not think this matches up well with the Paige(s) that I have.

I’ve owned one Satchel Paige autograph in my life, and it was very different than the OP.  Man, I really wish I still had it.  It was insane the deal I got on that baseball and a very rare one at that.  It was a 1965 Kansas City A’s team-signed baseball.  I bought at a store that sold antiques and other vintage items, but the owner really didn’t know much about sports collectibles.  He offered it to me for $30!  I didn’t really look it over too well before I bought it. I didn’t even know what year it was.  All I knew was it was a KC A’s team ball, and it was priced at $30.  For that price, I knew I couldn’t lose.  So when I got home, I looked it over more thoroughly and to my shock, Satchel Paige had signed the ball!  With research, I easily determined it was a 1965 ball because that was the year when the owner of the Kansas City A’s allowed Satchel Paige to come out of retirement at the age of 59 and pitch 3 innings for the A’s in one game only, making Paige the oldest player, I believe, to play in an MLB game!  And at the age of 59, Satchel Paige pitched 3 SCORELESS INNINGS!  That was the only game Paige played in in 1965 and afterwards he signed some team balls.  I don’t know how many he signed, but i doubt it was very many.  Damn...I wish I still had that rare $30 baseball!
